About Mussel Beach Campground
Wilderness Camping on the Pacific Coast of Canada
COVID-19 Update (20 July 2020)
Mussel Beach is fully booked for the 2020 season and is no longer taking reservations for camping spots this year. Please check availability for our Glamping Huts on AirBnB – links are provided at the bottom of this page.
We ask that all campers come with all their supplies (including drinking water) to keep the impact to the small communities of Ucluelet and Tofino to a minimum.
We will have a self check-in board as our office will remain closed. Firewood and ice will be delivered to you upon request via text. Our toilets and showers will be open with posted safety measures.
We would like to remind campers that they should be camping within their local areas in accordance with BC’s health ministers’ recommendations to help with the spread of the virus.
Thank you for your understanding,

Read What Our Campers Thought
“If you are thinking about staying at mussel beach, just do it! When you arrive there and see the stunning ocean view you will immediately know that it was the right decision. All the camping spaces have their individual Charme and are just beautiful. The amenities are super clean. You can collect some mussel for your dinner, take a nice walk along the beach and explore some caves, watch the eagles flying over your head or just relax in the sun.”
“We were fortunate enough to experience Mussel beach with beautiful views over the ocean. Our campsite was a beachfront site with bald eagles living above us. Every morning we could step out of our tents and enjoy the sound of waves and watch the activity on the beach and ocean while having a cup of coffee. We enjoyed the evening with big camp fires as well. If you are looking for a relaxed, wilderness experience and camping right on the beach, we would highly recommend Mussel Beach Campground.”
